This is a very timely and wonderful experience: on May 13 (thisSunday, Mother's Day) at 1:00 p.m., women all over the globe will stand in 5 minutes of silence together- to save the world. This 5-minute silence will be started and ended with the ringing of a bell.It's based on a beautiful book called The Great Silent GrandmotherGathering. I just got an e-mail about this from a friend, and we will stand a tour church in the yard on Sunday. It's a BEAUTIFUL concept- and prayer/meditation together can be so powerful. As of Wednesday, May 9,there are already 2165 Standing events listed in 67 nations, including 467 organizations.
