Guatemala Adoption Boxes

I have been making Guatemala Adoption Memory Boxes the last week or so. I have one listed on e-bay right now. 100% of the proceeds go to Mayan Families. I am so happy the bid is now over $39.00. I will be going to the craft store tonight for more supplies. Our Mayan Families Connections Group is working on our "Project Santa" project. I am so excited to be apart of this group of (mostly) women. We all support each other and our individual attempts to raise funds for the Mayan people.

Craig and I are sponsoring 2 children through school and I hope to go on a mission trip there next summer. I wish I could go for the Christmas party. I couldn't feel any happier than to be a part of that! But for now, I continue to make my boxes.

My kids are doing great!

Wyatt misses going to bible school and asks to go most every day. St Nicholas will be having their VBS in July and Craig is planning on helping them out. Rylee is great as usual. She will repeat anything you tell her to say. Wyatt breaks the words down in syllables for her. It is too cute.

Vacation Bible School : )

Wyatt was in VBS all week. He really loved it! I was so glad. I thought we would have to drag him every night. He was very sad the last day. It was held at the Methodist church and Sunday they planned to have the kids come out during mass and sing so we went to the Methodist church Sunday. Wyatt was soooo cute up there on stage singing. I wish I had taken the camera.
Saturday night Craig took the kids to The Jones' horse camp. Mommy stayed home and worked on the Adoption Memory Boxes. The kids had a great time. Thanks Jones'

Juno is now Juna!

Well we survived the first day with our new dog! She is doing very well and she is fine with cats. Koda is all over her. Very annoying, but he is lonely. We have not trained her on the underground fence yet. We will work with her today. I think she is really going to be a good dog. She doesn't have very good manners yet but she listens well.

Introducing Juno!

We are adopting a little girl named JUNO!

Juno has beautiful ice blue eyes.
A very pretty girl, she weighs about 24 pounds.
Juno is about 18 months old. She is a very loving dog
who stays close to home when loose. Juno would make
a wonderful dog for a family. Juno does well with other dogs.
We don't know about cats yet.

What a GREAT TRIP!!!

We had so much fun in Gatlinburg!!!! We got to our hotel about 8pm Thursday. Craig and Wyatt went swimming until about 10pm. We had been sitting in the car for so long that we HAD to go for a walk. We walked along the strip until about midnight, then went back to the hotel. In the morning we called Vanessa and met up with them after breakfast. Craig and Wyatt went to the Aquarium and Rylee and I went SHOPPING! We did so much in such a short time. We went to Cherokee and saw real Indians we went to the Dinosaur museum, Dolly Wood and more. We all decided the next time we all meet up we will plan a longer trip. We all hardly had time to sit and talk with each other. I tryed so hard to talk Craig into staying another night. He already had so much planned to do when he got home, he would not go for it. The kids slept almost the whole way home. We were all exhausted. We love you guys and we can't wait to do it again!

We are off to Gatlinburg!

We will be leaving tomorrow before nap time and coming home Sunday. We will be meeting some of our Guatemala Adopted Families that we met on visits and our pick-up trip. I am so excited! I have made some really good, life long friends during our adoption. I can't wait to see them and their not so little, little ones, again. We are also going to Dolly Wood while we are there. That and seeing the Dinosaur museum is all Wyatt is talking about. He keeps telling me the Rug Rats are at Dolly Wood. I don't know, we will see!

SNOWBALL

We lost our poor Snowball over the weekend. She was very sick when I got home from work on Friday. She had not acted normal since Craig left. I ran her to the vet and left her there so he could stabilize her sugar. She was Diabetic and completely blind! It turned out she had a stroke and didn’t recover so the vet put her down Saturday morning. What a good dog she was!
