We needed a break!

We had a really tough week. It has been a while since we were able to do anything as a family. So we headed to St Louis Saturday morning. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun.
We went straight to the St Louis Science Center. They were having a Marvel exhibit. Very Cool! It was all about super heroes and how they made the special effects.

Then we headed to the hotel, went swimming and then to dinner. ( The Drury Inn, a very nice hotel. We received 2 free tickets to "The Magic House", free cocktails from 5-7, free snacks and soda for the kids until 10pm and we all got a great breakfast buffet. I highly recommend the Drury Inn. ) After dinner we went to see the Arch .The Hump is what Wyatt and I were calling it. I never knew it was made of metal. I though it was made of concrete. HUGE! sums it up. The first picture is Craig pushing the stroller with Rylee in it and Wyatt is walking beside him.

Then back to the hotel with 2 cranky kids. The next morning we got up had a great big breakfast and went to the Zoo. We didn't get to see everything because it was huge and the kids got tired.

So we headed back home from there. It all went by so fast but we needed some FAMILY TIME!
